Rookies

Rookies is designed to give children a successful start to their hockey careers by providing basic ice hockey skills and skating methods in an encouraging atmosphere. Players will focus on hockey skating techniques, stick handling, passing, shooting and well as other hockey methods essential in learning how to play hockey. All children entering Rookies should have some experience skating (e.g., be able to stop & get up without assistance). If your child is in need of skating lessons, please reach out via our Learn To Skate form. Rookies is open to children ages 4-12 and run by Power Skating & Hockey Skills Coach, Dean Boornazian. Coach Dean has over 25+ years experience working with all ages and skill levels.
