Springfield Township Hockey League
- STHL is open to boys and girls between the ages of 4 and 18 years of age in the Philadelphia area, regardless of previous hockey experience. All skaters should have some experience ice skating (e.g., be able to stop & get up without assistance). We recommend that children who have never been on skates before take lessons prior to the start of the season and/or attend public skates.
- STHL operates on one, continuous season from late September through early April.
- Divisions are divided up as follows:
- Rookies ($450) Kids new to hockey ages 4+. Your skater should be able to skate, stop and get up without assistance. Full gear required.
- Bronze Division ($550) Open to players 8 and under who have skating ability and are ready to compete in games.
- Silver Division ($550) Open to players ages 9-14yrs old.
- Gold Division ($550) Open to players ages 15-18yrs old.
- Players are scheduled to be on the ice at least once a week.
- A weekly 45min skating clinic is open to all players in Bronze, Silver & Gold and is included in the cost of tuition.
- All ice times are Saturday and Sunday primarily in the morning and at Springfield Ice Rink.
- STHL is a no checking league.
- STHL is USA Hockey Affiliated which means all players, including Rookies must have a USA Hockey Membership # in order to Register.
